> Associating Permits

Associate permits with records and functions.

Follow these steps to associate permits.

1. From any form on which you can associate permit information, click Permits on the options toolbar. Datastream 7i displays the Permits associated form.

2. Permit—Click to select the permit to associate with the record.

3. Mandatory—Select to indicate that the permit is mandatory to complete work.

4. Choose File | Save from the menu bar. Datastream 7i saves the information to the database.

5. Click . Datastream 7i closes the dialog box and returns to the previous form.
