> Entering Custom Fields

Further define Datastream 7i records with custom fields.

   Define custom fields on the Custom fields form (BMPROM) and the Custom fields and list of values form (BXPROM). Refer to "Defining Custom Fields Information" in Chapter 1  Configuration of the System Configuration Guide.

Follow these steps to enter custom fields.

  1. From any form on which you can enter custom fields information, click Custom fields on the options toolbar. Datastream 7i displays Custom fields page of the current form.

  2. Enter information in the fields as necessary.

  3. Choose File | Save from the menu bar. Datastream 7i saves the information to the database.
