Refer to the following guidelines when entering information into Datastream 7i:
Enter leading zeros in numeric fields for correct sorting. For example, to sort parts 1 through 10 in ascending order (with 9 preceding 10), enter parts 1 through 9 as 01, 02, 03, etc.
Do not use the characters & (ampersand), _ (underscore), ‘ (single quotation mark), " (double quotation mark), % (percent), # (pound sign or hash mark), and ’ (apostrophe) in Datastream 7i codes and descriptions.
Where applicable, enter all paths and filenames exactly as they appear; otherwise, Datastream 7i may not be able to locate external documents or executable files.
