Generate reports from the menu bar or by entering the mnemonic identifying the report to start in Address. For most reports, Datastream 7i displays a parameter screen in which you enter selection criteria for the report. You can also generate reports from the backend menu of functions for which background report functions are assigned. Background report functions generate reports to the default system printer in background mode.
You may also specify a report format and destination for reports. Reports can be printed, sent via e-mail as a file attachment, or saved to file to access through external applications.
Reports are also available in Adobe Acrobat format (PDF). The Acrobat file provides a preview of the report before running and enables you to print to your local printer.
