Many Datastream 7i forms contain date fields, such as Due date on the Purchase orders form (PMPORD) and User ID expiration date on the Users form (BMUSER). All date fields require the same format. However, you can easily enter the date in the correct format using the Datastream 7i Calendar dialog box. You can also change the date format with the FORMDATE installation parameter.
Follow these steps to select dates with the Calendar dialog box.
Double-click in the date field on any Datastream 7i form. Datastream 7i displays the Calendar dialog box with the current date highlighted.
Choose one of the following options:
Click / to advance/reverse one month.
Click / to advance/reverse one year.
Double-click on the desired date. Datastream 7i closes the Calendar dialog box, returns to the previous form, and enters the date.
