Datastream 7i stores all asset information in a database, a collection of related information stored in forms. Each form contains records that in turn contain fields of individual information items.

Datastream 7i accesses forms in the database to generate the requested information. For example, Datastream 7i can generate all work orders scheduled for a particular day.
You can access a form in the database at any time, and you can add, change, or delete any record in the table.
