After setting up new Datastream 7i users, associate them with specific organizations. When the user logs in to Datastream 7i, the login organization determines to what user group the user belongs for that Datastream 7i session.
Follow these steps to associate users with organizations.
Open the Users form (BMUSER).
Query for the user to associate with an organization.
Click the Organization tab. Datastream 7i displays the Organization page.
Organization—Click to select the organization to associate with the user.
User group—Click to select the user group within this organization.
Default—Select to indicate that this organization is the default organization for this user, i.e., Datastream 7i automatically displays this organization when the user logs in to Datastream 7i.

Choose File | Save from the menu bar. Datastream 7i saves the information to the database.
