Complete warranty claims to indicate that the claim process is complete and that you are satisfied with the values reimbursed or paid for your settlement.
Compare the work order closing costs with the claim payments for the work order cost categories displayed in the Claim Details. The Claim Details indicate the total cost for each work order cost category on which the claim is based. The Closing Details represent the actual amount that is submitted for claim for each category.
Follow these steps to complete warranty claims.
Open the Warranty claims form (OMCLAI).
Query for the claim to close.
Click the Record view tab. Datastream 7i displays the Record view page.
Status—Select Completed. Datastream 7i freezes all claim and close details.
Choose File | Save from the menu bar. Datastream 7i saves the information to the database.

Click More to view the frozen claim and closing details. Datastream 7i displays additional fields enabling you to view the final claim and closing detail information. |
