> Defining Assets Using Asset Profiles

Follow these steps to define assets using asset profiles.

1. Open the Equipment form (OMOBJC).

2. Click the Record view tab. Datastream 7i displays the Record view page.

3. Equipment—Enter a unique code identifying the equipment.

4. Profile—Click to select the profile from which to copy information. Datastream 7i applies as much of the profile information as possible.

5. Make changes as necessary.

6. Choose File | Save from the menu bar. Datastream 7i saves the information to the database.
