> Transferring Installed Assets Between Organizations (MOS)

Transfer assets with a Status of Installed between organizations to move an installed asset to a new organization for installation.

Follow these steps to transfer installed assets between organizations.

1. Open the Asset transfer form (OXTRAS).

2. Query in the top section for the equipment to transfer to another organization.

3. New organization—Click to select the organization to which to transfer the equipment.

4. New department—Click to select the new department to which to transfer the equipment.

5. Enter information into the remaining fields as necessary.

6. Click Transfer. Datastream 7i transfers the equipment and displays a message indicating that the equipment was transferred successfully. Click OK. Datastream 7i returns to the Asset transfer form.
