> Changing Text of a Specific Function

Change text of a specific function if the text usage is in the wrong context for your local language.

   The changes you make might be overwritten during system upgrades or by global substitutions (BXBOIL).

Follow these steps to change text of a specific function.

  1. Open the Functions form (BMFUNC).

  2. Query for the function for which to change text.

  3. Click the Text tab. Datastream 7i displays the Text page.

  4. Text—Change the text as required.

   The first record in this form (seq. 1) contains the title of the form. Change as necessary. However, do not remove the ampersand (&) from Text if it appears in the text; it identifies the shortcut key for the function on the pulldown menu.

  1. Choose File | Save from the menu bar. Datastream 7i saves the information to the database.
