Run a Stocktake Discrepancy report to view the differences between expected on-hand inventory and the physical inventory count. Datastream 7i prints discrepancies for consumable parts and parts tracked by asset in different areas on the printed report and calculates separate subtotals for the total value of consumable parts and parts tracked by asset.
Follow these steps to create and report a stocktake discrepancy.
Open the Reporting stocktake discrepancy form (SRSTDL).
Stocktake—Click to select the stocktake assigned to this inventory count period.
Part—Click to select the part to view discrepancies between the part’s expected on-hand inventory and the physical inventory count. If you leave both fields blank, Datastream 7i retrieves data for all parts in all stores.
Store—Click to select the store for which to view discrepancies between the store’s expected on-hand inventory and the physical inventory count.
Keep values—Select to keep query values on the screen.
Choose one of the following options:
Store—Select to display the data in descending order by store.
Part—Select to display the data in descending order by part number.
Organization—Click to select the organization for the report if you use multi-organization security.
