Stores are specific locations for part storage areas. When defining stores, Datastream 7i automatically populates Price type with the value specified for the PRICETYP installation parameter, but you can modify the price type for each store as necessary. You can set the store pricing method to Average price, Last price, Base price, First in first out (FIFO), or Last in first out (LIFO). However, you can only set Price type to FIFO or LIFO if the PRICELEV installation parameter is set to S (Store).

Auto req status and Auto PO status indicate the highest-level status for Datastream 7i to assign to requisitions and/or purchase orders generated on the Create Default requisitions/POs from Low Stock form (SBREQF). However, Datastream 7i could automatically assign a lower-level status, such as U (Unfinished) based on certain generation scenarios. You can only set the Auto PO status if you have selected a status for Auto req status. The available statuses for Auto PO status are defined for the user on the Status change authorization form (BNAUTH). |
