Enter the actual physical inventory count into the system. Datastream 7i allows you to enter quantities for parts, parts tracked by asset, and/or serialized parts that are different than the expected quantity.
Follow these steps to enter stocktake physical quantities.
Open the Entering stocktake physical quantities form (SDPHYS).
Query for the stocktake assigned to this inventory count period. Datastream 7i displays part quantities based on bin location. The expected value is the calculated on hand inventory at the time of the inventory snapshot.
Physical quantity—Enter the actual inventory count for the part. If you leave this field blank, Datastream 7i assumes that expected count and actual count are equal.
Choose File | Save from the menu bar. Datastream 7i saves the information to the database.
