You are receiving a part repaired internally. Datastream 7i updates the available quantity of the part in inventory by the received quantity and inserts a record of the part and the receipt unit price in the R5FIFO table when the receipt for the requisition and work order for the internal repair is approved. The transaction price for the repairable spare receipt is equal to the unit cost on the requisition line if the RPPRCCAL installation parameter is set to YES. However, you can still modify Repair price on the receipt for the repairable spares.
If you update Repair price on the receipt for the internal repair, Datastream 7i copies the modified repair price to the transaction price.
If the RPPRCCAL installation parameter is set to NO, then both the transaction price and price for the new record inserted into R5FIFO will be the base price of the part, and you cannot modify Repair price on the receipt for the repairable spare.
