When signing off stocktake and updating quantities using the Sign off stocktake and update quantities form (SBSTTU), Datastream 7i handles LIFO/FIFO pricing of negative adjustments the same way that it handles regular issues.
For positive adjustments, Datastream 7i calculates the average price of the part in the store that is adjusted by the stocktake. Then Datastream 7i inserts a record of the positive adjustment quantity at the calculated average price and a transaction record of the positive adjustment in the R5FIFO table.
Datastream 7i processes negative adjustments similarly to the manner it does issues.
