Associate the diagnostic tests with company assets that are experiencing problems. Datastream 7i prints any information added to a diagnostics record on the work order card if the following criteria are met:
The problem code in the work order is the same as the code associated with the diagnostic code.
The equipment of the work order is the same as the equipment related to the diagnostic item.

Follow these steps to associate diagnostic codes with equipment.
Open the Diagnostics per equipment form (WDDIAG).
Query for the equipment to associate with diagnostics.
Problem code—Click to select the problem for the equipment that relates to the diagnostic test.
Diagnostics—Click to select the relevant diagnostic.
Choose File | Save from the menu bar. Datastream 7i saves the information to the database.
