> Associating Equipment with Shutdown Codes

Associate specific equipment with the shutdown identification codes. For example, create a shutdown identification code for each station, and then associate each piece of equipment in the station with that identification code.

   You cannot define shutdown codes for standard work order templates.

Follow these steps to associate equipment with shutdown codes.

  1. Open the Shutdown form (JMSHUT).

  2. Query for the shutdown code with which to associate equipment.

  3. Click the Equipment tab. Datastream 7i displays the Equipment page.

  4. Equipment—Click to select the equipment to include in the shutdown. The shutdown code rolls down to all child equipment.

  5. Standard work orders—Click to select the standard work order for the equipment (the work to be performed when the shutdown occurs).

  6. Budget—Click to select the budget code.

  7. Choose File | Save from the menu bar. Datastream 7i saves the information to the database.
