> Associating Failure Codes with Classes

Follow these steps to associate failure codes with classes.

  You cannot delete failure codes after associating them with a class or an event.

  1. Open the Failure codes form (ONFACO).

  2. Query for the failure code with which to associate an equipment class.

  3. Click the Classes tab. Datastream 7i displays the Classes page.

  4. Class—Click to select the class to associate with the failure code.

  5. Choose File | Save from the menu bar. Datastream 7i saves the information to the database.
