Define the overall calendar and calendar period for budgets. For example, a yearly calendar might have 12 periods, one for each month of the year, or four periods, one for each quarter of the year.
Follow these steps to define calendars.
Open the Calendars form (UNCALE).
Calendar—Enter a unique code identifying the calendar.
Description—Enter a description of the calendar.
Class—Click to select the class of the calendar. The classes shown belong to the CAL entity.
Periods—Enter the number of periods within the calendar.
Choose File | Save from the menu bar. Datastream 7i saves the information to the database.
