Datastream 7i uses one or two exchange rates to convert foreign currency amounts to base currency. Apply one of the following four scenarios to convert foreign currencies.

The base currency is defined in the DEFCURR parameter of the Installation Codes form (BNINST). Specify the Euro currency "EUR" in DUALCURR if you are using the triangular conversion method to convert amounts to and from Euro zone currencies. Purchase order totals reflect the exchange rate at the time you create the purchase order. |
