> Applying Credit and Debit Notes to Invoice Vouchers

Credit notes are notices received from the supplier that reduce the amount of the invoice. Debit notes are invoice reduction notices that are initiated from within your organization.

Record credit and debit notes for both approved and unapproved vouchers and voucher lines to make adjustments to invoice charges for cost reductions. Create the note header on the Record view page, and then associate the credit or debit note with specific parts and/or services on the Lines page.

Unlike regular vouchers, credit and debit notes do not require matching and can immediately be assigned a status of Approved/active upon completion of the note.
