> Creating Scanner Prompts to Load onto the Scanner

Follow these steps to create scanner prompts to load onto the scanner.

1. Choose Programs | Datastream 7i | Data Collection | Create Prompts from the Windows Start menu. Windows launches Oracle SQL*Plus.

2. Enter the Transaction Code for which to collect data. SQL*Plus creates the scanner prompts and returns to the Windows desktop.
