> Defining Default SQL Statements

Follow these steps to define default SQL statements.

1. Open the Select statement definition form (BMQUER).

2. Click the Record view tab. Datastream 7i displays the Record view page.

3. Code—Enter the code identifying the SQL statement.

4. SQL statement—Enter the default SQL statement. To validate the statement, click Test SQL. Datastream 7i displays a message indicating the accuracy of the statement.

5. Choose File | Save from the menu bar. Datastream 7i saves the changes to the database.
