Define the Datastream 7i functions that are available on specific scanner menu user groups.

Follow these steps to define function permissions by menu group.

1. Open the User groups form (BMGROU).

2. Query for the user group for which to define scanner menu permissions.

3. Click the Authorization tab. Datastream 7i displays the Authorization page.

4. Function—Click to select the scanner function created previously.

5. Choose File | Save from the menu bar. Datastream 7i saves the information to the database.
