> Loading Datastream 7i Files onto the Scanner

Follow these steps to load Datastream 7i files onto the scanner.

  1. Ensure that the scanner cradle is attached to the computer.

  2. Choose Programs | Datastream 7i | Data Collection | Load Scanner from the Windows Start menu. Datastream 7i launches LOADIT.

  3. Follow the on-screen directions. Datastream 7i copies the following files onto the scanner:

AUTOEXEC.BAT

CONFIG.SYS

2.BAT

AUTOINST.BAT

MSDOS.SYS

3.BAT

START.BAT

IO.SYS

JANUS.INI

COMMAND.COM

R5PROMPT.PTH

RFT16.EXE

R5HNDHLD.EXE

R5INTRMC.EXE

RFT32.EXE

R5PROMPT.EXE

 

  1. Click . Windows closes the LOADIT dialog box.
