> Adding PM Equipment to PM Plans

Adding equipment to a PM plan creates a PM piece of equipment for every PM attached to the plan. A piece of equipment can be attached to only one PM plan. If you delete a piece of equipment from the plan, Datastream 7i removes the equipment from the plan and all associated PMs. You cannot associate equipment if there is no PM associated with the plan.

Follow these steps to add PM equipment to PM plans.

  1. Open the PM Plan form (WMPPMP).

  2. Query for the PM plan to which to add equipment.

  3. Click the Equipment tab. Datastream 7i displays the Equipment page.

  4. Equipment—Click to select the PM equipment to add to the PM plan.

Repeat this step to add as many PM pieces of equipment as necessary.

  1. Choose File | Save from the menu bar. Datastream 7i saves the information to the database.
