> Defining PM Plan Headers

Follow these steps to define PM plan headers.

  1. Open the PM Plan form (WMPPMP).

  2. Click the Record view tab. Datastream 7i displays the Record view page.

  3. PM plan—Enter a unique code identifying the PM plan, and then enter a description of the PM plan in the adjacent field.

  4. Organization—Click to select the organization to which the PM plan belongs if you use multi-organization security.

   If multi-organization security is activated, i.e., the MULTIORG installation parameter is set to YES, you can only attach PMs of the same organization to a PM plan. You cannot use the common organization when creating PM plans.

  1. Class—Click to select the class of the PM plan. The classes shown belong to the PPMP entity.

  2. Equipment class—Click to select the class of the equipment. If you select an equipment class, Datastream 7i restricts attaching PM equipment associated with other classes to the PM plan.

  3. Copy from—Click to select an existing PM plan from which to create a new plan. Datastream 7i copies each PM associated to the plan; however, Datastream 7i does not copy PM equipment.

  4. Choose File | Save from the menu bar. Datastream 7i saves the information to the database.
