Follow these steps to define the work package header.
Open the PM work packages form (WMWKPK).
Work package—Enter a unique code identifying the work package; enter a description of the work package in the adjacent field; and then click to select the organization of the work package if you use multi-organization security.
Class—Click to select the class of the work package. The classes shown belong to the WKPK entity.
WO type—Click to select the work order type of the work package.
Parent equipment—Click to select the equipment on which to perform the work package.
Work order class—Click to select the class of the work package. The classes shown belong to the EVNT entity.
Department—Click to select the department to which the work package belongs.
Trade—Click to select the trade performing the work package.
Due date—Enter the date that the work package should begin.
PM type—Click to select the type of the work package.
Perform every—Enter the length of time to elapse before Datastream 7i generates the PM work package, and then click in the adjacent field to select the unit of measure for the PM work package period. The unit of measure for the PM work package period can be days, weeks, months, quarters, or years.
Estimated workload—Enter the estimated number of hours needed to complete the work package.
Duration—Enter the estimated number of days needed to complete the entire work package.
People required—Enter the number of people needed to complete the work package.

Datastream 7i calculates Calculated workload based on the sum of the estimated workload for each PM work order. Datastream 7i selects Changed to indicate that a piece of equipment was removed from the PM either on the Preventive maintenance schedules form (WMPPMS) or on the PM plan form (WMPPMP). |
Choose File | Save from the menu bar. Datastream 7i saves the information to the database.
