> Defining Tolerance for PM Work Orders

Define tolerance levels for PM work orders to report overdue PMs. The Out of tolerance PMs report (WRPMTL) lists all PM work orders that were not completed within its permitted tolerance. Datastream 7i calculates the Completed by Date by adding the date of issue and the tolerance for the PM.

If you have created a custom attribute for PMs for the Number of Days offsite (OFFSITE) custom attribute, Datastream 7i calculates tolerance with this equation:

Complete by date = Due Date + Number of Days Off Site

Follow these steps to define tolerance for PM work orders.

  1. Open the PM tolerance form (WNTOLR).

  2. Priority—Click to select the work order priority code for which to define tolerance.

  3. Minimum and Maximum—Enter the minimum and maximum number of days for the PM.

  4. Tolerance—Enter the number of days to determine if the PM is overdue.

  5. Choose File | Save from the menu bar. Datastream 7i saves the information to the database.
