Release selected PM work orders to manually generate any PM work orders that have been temporarily postponed because the current due date for the PM falls within a dormant period specified for the equipment of the PM.
If the manually released PM is completed prior to the end of the dormant period for the PM equipment, Datastream 7i also creates a new PM work order for the equipment with a status of Awaiting release.
Follow these steps to release selected PM work orders.
Open the Release selected work orders form (WNRELJ).
Query for PM work orders with a status of Awaiting execution (A).
Select the work order to release, and then change the status from A-Awaiting execution to R-Released.
Choose File | Save from the menu bar. Datastream 7i saves the information to the database.

If you have created a nesting reference between major and minor PMs to bypass a minor PM that coincides with the release of a major PM, Datastream 7i will bypass any minor PMs associated with the release of the major PM. The PMCRPAST installation parameter specifies whether or not Datastream 7i can release a new fixed PM work order with a due date in the past. |
