Reschedule work either for the short term or for the long term.
Follow these steps to reschedule work.
Open the Work order rescheduling form (WXPLAN).
Period—Enter the period for which to display work orders.
Select one of the following options:
Day—Select to define the timescale as days.
Week—Select to define the timescale as weeks.
Master calendar—Select to retrieve schedules for all work orders and their associated children. Datastream 7i only displays master schedules for work orders that have Master calendar selected on the Work orders form (WMJOBS).
Adjustment—Enter the number of days by which to reschedule work orders.
Select one of the following options:
Short term—Select to view the work orders scheduled for the near future.
Datastream 7i allows you to update the Target date, Priority, and Status of the short-term work orders.
Long term—Select to view the work orders scheduled for the long term.
Datastream 7i also shows details of PM work orders awaiting execution and allows you to update their Due date, Frequency, Fixed indicator, and Status.
Query for the work order. Datastream 7i displays related information in the left scrolling window and a calendar of possible rescheduling dates in the right scrolling window.
Choose one of the following options:
Reschedule short term work orders—Enter the Target date for the work order.
Reschedule PM work orders—Modify the Due date of the PM work order.
If conflicts occur during scheduling, Datastream 7i selects Conflict and displays a Conflict description. Datastream 7i also selects Conflict Resolved if the problem was corrected.
Choose File | Save from the menu bar. Datastream 7i saves the information to the database.

If PM Revision Control is activated, PM fields on this form are read-only. Additionally, if you have created a nesting reference between major and minor PMs to bypass a minor PM that coincides with the release of a major PM, Datastream 7i will bypass any minor PMs associated with the release of the major PM. |
