> Defining Equipment Inspection Aspects

Associate aspects with equipment or categories. For example, specify a category of vans or a particular van, and then associate it with the inspection aspect of measuring tire tread.

Follow these steps to define equipment inspection aspects.

1. Open the Monitored data form (IMMONT).

2. Query for the equipment or category for which to define inspection aspects.

3. Click the Aspects tab. Datastream 7i displays the Aspects page.

4. Aspect—Click to select each aspect to associate with the equipment or category.

5. Method—Click to select the inspection method to associate with the equipment or category.

6. Choose File | Save from the menu bar. Datastream 7i saves the information to the database.
