> Associating Equipment with Piping Classes

Associate equipment with piping classes so that the piping class material standards always follow the equipment.

Follow these steps to associate equipment with piping classes.

1. Open the Piping classes form (IMPIPC).

2. Query for the piping class with which to associate equipment.

3. Click the Equipment tab. Datastream 7i displays the Equipment page.

4. Equipment—Click to query for the equipment to associate with a piping class.

5. Choose File | Save from the menu bar. Datastream 7i saves the information to the database.
