To calculate the criticality code, you must assign a rank to the risk focus. When you save the record, Datastream 7i generates a criticality code and posts it to all equipment, classes, or categories associated with the risk focus.
Follow these steps to calculate criticality codes.
Open the Equipment association and risk ranking form (IXOBCR).
Query for the equipment/risk focus combination for which to calculate a criticality code.
Click the Ranking tab. Datastream 7i displays the Ranking page.
Ranking—Click to select one of the recorded rankings for the associated risk item. Note that the listed risk items are all ranking levels.
Choose File | Save from the menu bar. Datastream 7i saves the information to the database.
Click the Record view tab. Datastream 7i displays the Record view page.
Click Calculate criticality. Datastream 7i calculates the risk focus value based on the ranking and determines a criticality code for the risk focus/equipment combination.
