Follow these steps to enter additional inspection aspect information.
Open the Monitored data form (IMMONT).
Query for the equipment, equipment class, or equipment category for which to define additional aspect information.
Click the Aspects tab. Datastream 7i displays the Aspects page.
Aspect—Click to select the inspection aspect as necessary.
Method—Click to select the inspection method for the aspect as necessary.
Risk focus—Click to select a risk focus to attach to the aspect.
Confidence rating—Click to select the confidence rating for the aspect. Datastream 7i uses this value as the default value when recording inspection results.
Nominal value—Enter the starting value or normal value for measurements on this aspect. For example, if a new pipe’s wall thickness is 3 mm, the nominal value is 3 mm.
UOM—Click to select the unit of measure for the nominal value.
Min formula—Click to select the formula to calculate minimum critical value.
Min critical—Enter the lowest possible value for the aspect.
Min extreme—Enter the minimum extreme value beyond the operating specifications for the aspect.
Min tol—Enter the minimum percentage of critical value for the aspect.
Min STWO—Enter a standard work order to restore normal operating conditions when the minimum critical value is reached.
Min PM—Enter a PM to restore the normal operating conditions when the minimum critical value is reached.
Max formula—Click to select the formula to calculate maximum critical value.
Max critical—Enter the highest possible value for the aspect.
Max extreme—Enter the maximum extreme value beyond the operating specifications for the aspect.
Max tol—Enter the maximum percentage of critical value for the aspect.
Max STWO—Enter a standard work order to restore normal operating conditions when the maximum critical value is reached.
Max PM—Enter a PM to restore the normal operating conditions when the maximum critical value is reached.
Replacement frequency—Enter the number of times you replace corrosion measurement tools, e.g., probes, coupons, etc.
Choose File | Save from the menu bar. Datastream 7i saves the information to the database.
