Calculate the time/material costs for selected work orders.
Datastream 7i selects work orders for which no approved or invoiced calculations exist and then determines the closest matching contract. The pricing schedules of this contract are used in combination with the standard Datastream 7i cost functions to calculate costs and charges.
Follow these steps to calculate work order costs.
Open the Calculate WO charges form (WBCJOB).
Choose one of the following options:
Calculate charges for a single work order—Click , for Work order, to select the work order for which to calculate work order charges.
Calculate charges of work orders for a customer—Click , for Customer, to select the customer for which to calculate work order charges.
Calculate charges for work orders for a department—Click , for Department, to select the department for which to calculate work order charges.
Calculate charges for work orders for equipment—Click , for Equipment, to select the equipment and any child equipment for which to calculate work order charges.
Calculate charges for work orders for a project—Click , for Project, to select the project for which to calculate work order charges.
Keep values—Select to retain the values entered after calculating work orders and closing the form.
Released work orders—Select to include released work orders in the calculation.
Completed work orders—Select to include completed work orders in the calculation.
Completed from and Completed to—Enter the start and end date of the period for which to calculate work order charges.
Click on the reports toolbar. Datastream 7i calculates the work order charges and prints the report.
