> Creating Customers

Follow these steps to create customers.

  1. Open the Customers form (WMDEBS).

  2. Click the Record view tab. Datastream 7i displays the Record view page.

  3. Customer (person being charged)—Enter a unique code identifying the customer, and then enter the name or a description of the customer in the adjacent field.

  4. Organization—Click to select the organization to which the customer belongs if you use multi-organization security.

  5. Class—Click to select the class of the customer.

  6. Type—Click to select the customer type.

  7. Tax—Click to select the tax for the customer.

  8. Currency—Click to select the currency for the customer.

  9. Choose File | Save from the menu bar. Datastream 7i saves the information to the database.
