> Correcting Transaction Errors

Correct transaction errors by correcting data prompt values, and then submit the changes to the Datastream 7i database.

Follow these steps to correct transaction errors.

  1. Open the Transaction error correction form (TDERRS).

  2. Click the Record view tab. Datastream 7i displays the Record view page.

  3. Query for the transaction. Datastream 7i displays the transaction data.

  4. Click Error Message. Datastream 7i displays all error messages for the record.

   Click Query to query for specific data across all prompts in the record.

  1. Enter any corrections to the data displayed in the lower section of the form.

  2. Choose File | Save from the menu bar. Datastream 7i saves the information to the database.

   If the installation parameter ERRORSUB is set to '-', you must click Submit before saving the scanner corrections.
