Create work orders on the spot, apart from any existing project planning, and associate those work orders with a project later. All costs for the work order are charged to the project when the work order is associated with a project.

You can also change the project codes of work orders already associated with a project to associate them with a different project. |
Follow these steps to associate existing work orders with projects.
Open the Relate work orders to project form (JDRELJ).
Query for the project with which to associate a work order.
Equipment—Click to select the equipment for the project. Datastream 7i retrieves all relevant work orders for the equipment and any associated child equipment.

Place the cursor in the lower section of the form to display the work orders/projects. You can query for projects in both common and specific organizations to which you have access to relate the work orders to a selected project. |
Budget—Click to select a budget for the work orders to associate with the project.
Choose File | Save from the menu bar. Datastream 7i saves the information to the database.
