Link default budget codes with a project to retrieve all budget codes for which Default is selected on the Project budget codes form (JNPRBU).
You can define budget codes as default codes on the Project budget codes form (JNPRBU).
Follow these steps to link default budget codes with projects.
Open the Projects form (JMPROJ).
Click the Record view tab. Datastream 7i displays the Record view page.
Query for the project for which to associate default budget codes.
Click Link default budget codes. Datastream 7i displays a dialog box listing all of the budget codes for which Default is selected on the Project budget codes form (JNPRBU).

Link default budget codes is only enabled on the Record view page of the Projects form (JMPROJ) if you have defined default budget codes for projects. |
Choose one of these options:
Select—Select each default budget code you wish to associate with the project as necessary, or you can unselect each budget code you do not wish to associate with the project as necessary.
Click Select all to select all of the default budget codes.
Click Unselect all to unselect all of the default budget codes.

Datastream 7i displays the list of default budget codes grouped by cost area. If the PROJTRCK installation parameter is set to OFF, then Datastream 7i does not display Cost area. |
Click OK. Datastream 7i associates the selected default budget codes with the Project and returns the Budget page of the Projects form.

Click the Budgets tab to view all of the budget codes associated with a selected project. |
