Follow these steps to update the project status.
Open the Projects form (JMPROJ).
Query for the project for which to update the status.
Click the Record view tab. Datastream 7i displays the Record view page.
Project status—Click to select a new status from the following options:
Awaiting approval—Project waiting for approval
Approved—Project approved and ready to begin
Completed—Project completed. A project is not complete if there are any outstanding work order activities, requisitions, or purchase orders for the project.
Frozen—Project delayed because of budgetary constraints or unforeseen circumstances. When a project is frozen, Datastream 7i no longer enables you to create or update purchase orders, requisitions, booked hours, and issues/returns against any work orders associated with a frozen project, because doing so will cause dollars to be accrued to the work order/project. However, you can insert, update, and/or delete non-transactional information on work orders associated with a frozen project, such as the work order header, activities, and schedule information as necessary.
Actual start date and Actual end date—Enter the dates the project actually started and ended as necessary.
Choose File | Save from the menu bar. Datastream 7i saves the information to the database.
