Generate reports related to asset management. Datastream 7i generates several asset reports.

Work order cost by equipment (OROCST)

You can view work order cost by equipment in different currencies if you defined specific exchange rates.

Reporting currency—Click to select the currency in which to view work order cost.

Applicable exchange rate—Select one of the following options:

  • Actual—Select to calculate the conversion based on the exchange rate available on the work order start date.

  • Current—Select to calculate the conversion based on the currently active exchange rate.

Datastream 7i calculates the conversions on the printed report.

Work order cost of equipment per location (ORLCOL)

Click to select a Location class and Location.

Datastream 7i prints a list of equipment costs per location.

Fault-trend analysis (ORFLTG)

Click to select a Class, Category, Location, Type, Equipment, Number of months, Problem code, Action code, Cause code, and Failure code.

Datastream 7i prints a report showing how often a piece of equipment failed and why.

Mean time between failures per equipment (OROMFL)

Work order cost summary (ORCSTL)

Click to select a Class, Category, Location, Type, Equipment, Department, and Reporting currency.

Current exchange rate—Select to calculate the conversion based on the active exchange rate. Otherwise, Datastream 7i calculates the conversion based on the exchange rate on the work order’s creation date.

Datastream 7i calculates the conversions on the printed report.

Show child equipment—Select to show work order costs for children of the selected Equipment. Datastream 7i includes only the children for which costs roll up to the parent.

Note: You can select Show child equipment only if Equipment is entered.

WO status—Select one of the following options:

  • Open—Select to view work order costs for open work orders.

  • Closed—Select to view work order costs for closed work orders.

  • Both—Select to view work order costs for open and closed work orders.

Datastream 7i prints a report showing itemized and totaled cost information, e.g., labor, materials, services, and tool costs, by equipment (and related child equipment) for open and closed work orders.

Meter history (ORMHST)

Equipment depreciation report (ORDEPR)

Click to select the Equipment, Type, Class, Category, Department, Profile, Status, Location, the person the equipment is Assigned to, Cost code, Reporting currency, Depreciation type, and/or Organization.

Sort by—Choose to sort the report by Organization, Department, or by Equipment class.

Datastream 7i prints a report of the total equipment depreciation expense and book value through the End date.

Depending on the selection criteria entered, Datastream 7i includes all equipment records with a depreciation schedule of the selected Depreciation type for which an Original cost is specified that does not have a Transfer date.

If a piece of equipment is sold/scrapped, Datastream 7i determines whether the Sold/scrapped date is prior to the report End date. If so, then Datastream 7i displays the depreciation expense for the equipment through the Sold/scrapped date and a Book value of zero.

If you specify a future date as the End date for the report, Datastream 7i generates a report of the actual depreciation expense/book value through the current system date, as well as the projected depreciation expense/book value through the specified End date.

If the depreciation method for a piece of equipment is units of output, Datastream 7i generates a report of the most recent depreciation expense/book value that is presently available based on the current system date and units of output entered.

Warranty claims report (ORCLAI)

Click to select the Claim, Supplier, Equipment, Status, Warranty, System level, Assembly level, and/or Component level.

Select one of the following options:

  • Keep Values—Select to print established values.

  • Summary—Select to print a summary of the claim(s) in tabular format.

  • Closing details—Select to include closing details.

  • Filed date—Select if you want to generate the report for the specified date range based on the Date filed or the Date resolved for the warranty.

  • Activities—Select to include a list of the activities covered by warranty on the work order.

Sort by—Choose to sort the report output by Supplier, Equipment, or by Warranty.

Organization—Select the organization.

Start date and End date—Enter the starting and ending date by which to retrieve data. You can leave Start date and End date blank to retrieve all warranties.

Datastream 7i prints a claim report for the selected Organization.

If you selected to print a claim summary, the report only includes the supplier, claim number, claim description, equipment, work order number, and the total dollar value of the total claim amount and total claim close.

If you did not select to print a summary, the report includes claim details from the equipment record and work order, including the costs for labor, stock, hired labor, direct purchase materials, services, and tools.

If you selected Closing details, the report includes all closing details.

If you selected Activities, the report includes a list of all the activities covered by warranty on the work order, as well as the trade, task, reason for repair, work accomplished, technician part failure, comments, and VMRS codes associated with each activity.

Work order cost by equipment (OROCST)

Click to select a Type, Equipment, Department, Class, Category, Location, and Minimum cost.

You can view work order cost by equipment in different currencies if you defined specific exchange rates.
