View loop instruments for a work order containing an object that is a loop to access a list of all the instruments within the loop. A loop is a series of one or more instruments requiring and/or used for calibration. An instrument is designated as a loop on the equipment record.
The instruments in the loop are linked together through parent-child relationships in a hierarchy. All instruments in a loop must be linked directly as children of the loop in an equipment hierarchy.
Datastream 7i displays the loop instruments by listing the standard applied to input instruments first, the accessories second, and the reading taken from output instruments last.
Follow these steps to view loop instruments for a work order.
Open the Work orders form (WMJOBS).
Query for the calibration work order for which to view loop instruments.
Click the Calibration tab. Datastream 7i displays the Calibration page.
Click View loop instruments. Datastream 7i displays the view loop instruments popup.
View the loop instrument information.
Click OK.
