Screening Questions for Bar Coding

1.	Is the equipment safety-related?
2.	Is the cost of the equipment $2500 or more?
3.	Is the equipment categorized as a Quality Level 1 or Level 2 item (SNS-QA-P01)
4.	Does the equipment have a short life expectancy (2 years or less)?
5.	Does the equipment require scheduled preventative maintenance?
6.	Does the equipment require periodic calibration?
7.	Does the equipment contain electrical components, which are categorized as "unlisted electrical equipment", and require inspection and approval?

If any question is answered Yes then the equipment should be bar-coded.
