> Editing AUTOEXEC.BAT

Follow these steps to edit AUTOEXEC.BAT.

1. Launch Notepad or a similar text editor, and then open \DRIVEC\AUTOEXEC.BAT. Notepad displays the contents of AUTOEXEC.BAT.

2. Search for D:\CS_APM.EXE, and then enter the following lines:

REM * load barcode reader functionality

IF exist d:\loaduma.exe d:\loaduma

3. Save the file, and then exit Notepad.
