Define the criticality index against which to apply the criticality code assigned to the risk focus.
Follow these steps to define the criticality index.
Open the Criticality index form (INCRIT).
Click the Record view tab. Datastream 7i displays the Record view page.
Criticality—Click to select the criticality code for which to define the criticality index.
Risk focus—Click to select a risk focus/equipment combination with which to associate the criticality index. If you do not select a risk focus, Datastream 7i applies the criticality index to all risk foci.
Confidence rating—Click to select the confidence rating to apply to the criticality index. The confidence rating is the degree of faith in the accuracy of the measurement method used for the inspection aspect. Define confidence ratings on the Codes page of the Entities form (BNENTS) for the CRAT entity.
On frequency—Enter the percentage of remaining life that may pass before the scheduling of the next inspection of online equipment.
On maximum—Enter the maximum number of days allowed to pass before the scheduling of the next inspection of online equipment.
Off frequency—Enter the percentage of remaining life that may pass before the scheduling of the next inspection of offline equipment.
Off maximum—Enter the maximum number of days allowed to pass before the scheduling of the next inspection of offline equipment.
Out of service—Select to indicate that this code cannot be used in criticality calculations.
Choose File | Save from the menu bar. Datastream 7i saves the information to the database.
