Datastream 7i contains a contract clause library containing the most commonly used ISO contract clauses, to which you can also add your own clauses. Contract clauses can be linked to contract classes, purchase orders, and blanket orders. After defining initial purchasing information, create contract headers, associate parts with contracts, record discounts for parts on a contract, and record discounts for an entire purchase order. Then, change the Status of the contract to Ready for printing to allow printing of the contract. Once satisfied with the contents of the contract, change the Status to Approved/completed to apply the contract to purchase orders.
