The balanced scorecard displays key performance indicators (KPIs) and their scores on the Home page. KPIs are user-defined parameters that measure productivity or efficiency. Datastream 7i displays an icon and a score for each KPI on the balanced scorecard. The scorecard enables you to view the status of your work environment with respect to the KPIs specific to your job, as well as your current score for each KPI. The scores for KPIs are calculated at regular intervals based on the KPI definition.
The system administrator defines and grants access to the KPIs. KPIs are categorized by type and can either be user-group specific or general. General KPIs can be displayed for all users.
Access the balanced scorecard on the Home page, or have the system administrator set up the balanced scorecard to open automatically when you log on to Datastream 7i. Depending on system privileges, you can configure the balanced scorecard to display KPIs based on your preferences.
