The Datastream 7i user interface provides the means to perform work in Datastream 7i. The user interface consists of graphic elements and actions. Graphic elements are objects that you click with a mouse, such as a main menu, menu bar, Quick Access bar, and toolbars. Actions are values that you enter with a keyboard, such as mnemonics and shortcut keys.
When you log on, Datastream 7i displays the Navigator or the Home page, depending on which version you have. Selecting Functions from the Navigator or Home Page.
Follow these steps to select functions from the Navigator/Home page.
Right-click on Forms or Reports on the top of the Navigator or Home page. Datastream 7i displays the first level of modules available in Datastream 7i.
Drill-down to locate the desired function, and then click on the function. Datastream 7i displays the form.
